When Cruise Nation needed a rebrand, the brief was clear: create an identity that feels fresh, fun, and instantly captures the spirit of a cruise holiday. The challenge wasn’t just to design a logo, but to distill the excitement of travel into a single, iconic mark.
The answer came from blending two powerful, universal images. The first was a ship’s porthole — a classic nod to life at sea and the view every passenger associates with setting sail. The second was the kind of scene everyone dreams of when booking a holiday: the sun rising over water, the promise of warmth, relaxation, and adventure.
By combining these two symbols, the new Cruise Nation logo tells a complete story. The circle of the porthole frames the horizon, while the waves and sun create an image that feels at once nautical and aspirational. It’s a design that works on every level: simple enough to be instantly recognisable, but layered enough to carry meaning for the brand and its audience.
For Cruise Nation, this rebrand was about more than aesthetics. It was about shifting perceptions of cruising from old-fashioned and exclusive to modern, exciting, and accessible. The new logo embodies that ambition — bright, bold, and full of possibility.
